I have tried to make a logo with the help of a friend Drenius for WebGL4J, a WebGL wrapper for Java. (a): (b): (c): I personally prefer (a) and (c), and would like to know opinions of others too. Which one do you prefer most? Also any suggestions are appreciated.

I also prefer A and C, B is horrible imo. I think the cube parts should be a bit chunkier personally. C is nice but the text is a bit overbearing. A is the opposite, nice but too subtle.

Yeah sure. If you want it on a transparent background and any other changes just say. You can have the .blend I rendered it from also if you'd like.

I just want to keep it as a token of history, it looked so cool. But for the project itself, I went with (a) since most recommended it to me over the other versions.

Got a sub-16 ao100 - in other words, the average of my last 100 logged Rubik's cube solves were mostly in the 15 second range! Climbing the global rankings I haven't done much in terms of programming. Haven't really got much to do, since I've touched on almost everything I've wanted to.. neural nets, graphics, networking, reverse engineering, many languages, killer arch system w/ awesomewm. I just.. don't know what to do. It's making me pretty sad actually

Thanks a lot for choosing (a) which I like the most. After this poll, my anonymous (Drenius didn't want me to say his name publicly here, so anonymous) friend suggested me to use different colors (RGB) so here is that version too. Which one do you guys like better? I'm unable to select from them, they both look good.

would probably be an idea to lean the WebGL4J logo more towards the family of HTML5 "shield" logos or the OpenGL oval logo.

Hm? So just for the trash can and to waste time. I understand. Anyways, it might increase recognizability to immediately know what it is about and what it interfaces with.

I think I'm just going to use the logo made by NegativeZero, they're really really cool, thanks a lot. I personally like the orange and the green versions. Purple and blue are fine too, but I somehow like these two the most among them. By the way, can you provide transparent versions for the dark style images please? Also can you use capitals for W and J in the name? It is WebGL4J and not webGL4j. Other then that, this is so perfect.
As you asked, I'll give credit to your Twitter. Thanks a lot for this.
I'll be making a forum post about this soon, but am not sure where I should be posting due to the recent change in rules regarding libraries. This is a low level library that provides bindings to WebGL functions and doesn't do anything else. A few utilities like timing functions and fullscreen polyfills are added.

I was in my first car crash last night. My grandparents had let me use their pretty much brand new Jeep Wrangler because the dealership I was trying to buy my Subaru from was really sketchy and tried to scam me out of my deposit money. So I went and picked up the Jeep two days ago. Last night I was driving down a pretty straight road at dusk and there was a bicycle pulling a pretty wide cart behind him. So I stupidly fixated on him to make sure I didn't hit and kill him, which involved swerving around him a little because he had no lights and came out of nowhere. Unfortunately for me, there was a Cobalt stopped in front of me turning left into a business (no lights or stop signs) and I only noticed he had stopped after I was safely around the bike. It was too late, though, and so I tried to swerve to the right of him and slam on my brakes as hard as I could but I still clipped the right of his bumper with the left of my front. He couldn't get out of the way because there was a car turning in front of him, so he would have t-boned the car and there was a car in the left lane so neither of us could have swerved over there to avoid each other.
Fortunately (thank god), no one was hurt. The Cobalt held up pretty good considering I smashed into him at 20 - 30 MPH with a freaking Jeep. He managed to escape with only a pretty big dent on the back of his car, but everything still seemed to work fine. The Jeep, on the other hand, is a little worse off. It'll need a new wheel bearing (maybe? I'm not very mechanically inclined, so I could be wrong), and part of the front end was smashed and the turn signal is hanging off by it's wire. Honestly, it's not terrible. And my grandparents have amazing insurance, so I don't think it will be too bad. I'll be paying for any repairs because I feel straight up f**king horrible for wrecking their new car.
I managed to walk away with only a sprained/bruised wrist. I'm sore now after I've slept overnight, but I'm not too bad. WEAR YOUR DAMN SEAT BELTS! If any good comes out of this, it's that I know I will never not wear my seat belt. If I hadn't been wearing it last night then I would have definitely at least slammed into the windshield, if not go right through it. ALSO PUT LIGHTS ON THE BACK OF YOUR FREAKING BIKES. All of this could have been avoided if the biker had lights. I would've been able to see him without fixating on him, so I would've had enough time to brake before slamming into the guy in front of me.
So that wasn't a good Monday, but I've had worse.
Edit: We censor swear words now? That's a surprise!

@wessles, Looking good! The desktop on the glass would completely sketch me out, I would constantly worry about it being too heavy and eventually breaking through. Although I do have the same type of desk, and the glass is pretty damn thick (it can even hold my cat!).

Built six projects over the last two weeks to show (testing out of three classes). Took less than five minutes to show and get them passed off...this "school" is a joke. At least I'll have the cert?

having finished school means not so much that you are extraordinarily intelligent, but that you push through in the face of adversity. amirite.
