Voyage to Farland is a roguelike RPG inspired by the Mystery Dungeon games. It's built with Slick2D and has versions for Windows, Linux, Mac & Android.

<a href=";hl=en_US&amp;start=" target="_blank">;hl=en_US&amp;start=</a>

Here's the blurb:

You are a wandering adventurer, looking for your kidnapped sister. But to find her, you'll have to fight mask-wearing severed heads, ill-tempered ladybugs that spin and toss you (ahem, “Viper Beetles”), catapult-riding felines that lob items at you, plus more crazy monsters with crazier powers in this hardcore, permadeath adventure. No two attempts are ever the same. Replay value levelup! Are you up to the task?

Demo versions: (Linux & Mac links on the sidebar)

It would be cool if the mods consider the game for the Featured section!  Grin

Looks interesting, it reminds me of The Legend of Zelda and Dragon Warrior Smiley
I think I'll try it out when I'm home.

It might be like The Legend of Zelda and Dragon Warrior. Its main inspiration is Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer - a great game I was obsessed with a few years ago.

Definitely give it a try. I also wrote a "Guide to Not Dying" for the game recently that can be helpful when you're starting out.  Cheesy
