Those of you who are working on jogl based projects that will need to be deployed on both ppc & i386 based Macs, should know that there is now a new target - "macosxfat" that you can use to build a universal binary of jogl  for Mac OS X. You will need either the Transition Development Kit or a universal Mac OS X to compile for that target. You can find an already compiled universal releases of jogl (and joal) on my project page - http://homepage.mac.com/gziemski/projects/ I have tested those with Jake2 on both ppc and i386 based Macs.

cheers

Hi Gerard and Ken -

Thanks for the universal binaries Gerard! Do you guys have any idea when the universal binaries will be available in a more official capacity from the jogl folks?  We'd like to package it up with our next beta release probably in the next few weeks.

thanks!

We currently do not have the capability to generate these in the JOGL build setup. It's possible that Gerard could produce a one-off build for you.
