Hello.

Can someone point me to the a beginers tutorial? Some material where i can learn how to handle double buffering (or at least understand it), key and mouse listeners, thread handeling and states.

it will be much apreciated.

Lol, I really want to start creating Platformer Engines via 2D, than release them on here, always updating the releases with new content, things that can be done, always leave comments/examples commented out so people can get a idea of what's happening, and how to manipulate it to their own needs.

^ Off topic.

On topic: I could easily post 2-3 code snippets (classes), which could help you get a understanding of Key Listeners, Key Adapters, and Mouse Listeners, and how to react/update according to the actions performed.

Thanks a lot Gabriel for your interest on the matter. Being honest, im diying to get full control of the great potential the java languaje has to give.

(Offtopic) I always dreamed with develop my own game project and who knows, maybe start a carrer out of it...
