(This post has been modified a bit.)

This is the game I've been working on recently! The trees will be redrawn due to people getting quite upset that they look a bit like the terrarian ones. :-)

It's going to be an RPG styled game where you and other players walk around and kill each other for money. When getting money you'll be able to buy 'width-area'. Areas not owned by anyone is free to dig on. There will be some valuable minerals under ground. The world will be infinite. Oh! Did I mention? It's multiplayer. :-)

There will also be singleplayer version and the game will be ported to Android when it's done!

I'm concidering adding skills to the game that you can level up. We'll see about that.

World with character:

Combining screen:

Item inside inventory after combining (I had move my character a bit to the right in order to show this. The world got messed up because I'm too lazy adding an if in the pixel-destroying / building code):

An image saved of a world being 6000 x 1000 pixels (Open it up in an imageviewer. It's pretty fun just scrolling around!):

Hope you've enjoyed these screenies! Yes, I call them screenies. What's the big deal? :-)

Seems really awesome, but im not sure what the functions of the combined items are.
Also the light looks great, but its maybe a bit to hard (ddirectly going dark).

I'll make sure to mess around with the lighting code to at least add some side-light very soon. Glad you liked it! :-)

Looks very polished, I do have one suggestion though ; you need to make the text a bit more clear and maybe have the name of the item you have selected shown at the bottom of the inventory other than that its looking brilliant.

The game runs in a VolatileImage, which works a lot better than a BufferedImage as a display, so rendering everything by an array of pixels still works perfectly fine.
