I am recruiting for one of the UKs leading developers / publisher of mobile phone games

You will be responsible for development, porting and localization of a number of game titles across a range of genres. Ideally, you will have proven J2ME skills, probably for at least a year in a commercial environment, although they are also interested in hearing from those new to the field who can demonstrate they have the knowledge and skills to hit the ground running.

Initially, the focus will be on porting and localization, and the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring existing code can run on a variety of handsets. This will include legacy handsets as well as new handsets  (sometimes prototypes) where you will be expected to take a lead in investigating and reporting back on issues and quirks found during the porting process.

If this sounds interesting drop me a line back in confidence for a full job spec.
