Strange, it pegs the CPU at 100% and I think the fps is ~0.5 or worse by the looks of the "swinging "click to start". Clicking didn't seem to start it. Testing webstarted works fine and runs very smooth. CPU load so bad that even mouse cursor freezes in-between.

Tongue
It's an ATI mobility Radeon 9600. It could naturally be it choking on the semi transparent stuff in an applet...  Undecided Might work if I just could get past the first screen... Bit strange that the game doesn't register the mouse click at all Embarrassed

Update: managed to get past first screen by clicking/holding in mouse button for ~1 min (not sure what did it). Game itself was just as unresponsive as menu, sorry. screen update every 4 - 40 sec or so.

Can't really bring myself to believe it's an ATI issue, but I suppose it could be.

Opera works repeatedly for me here now.

Applet works fine for me:

Firefox 1.5, radeon 9800 pro - catalyst v6.7

So it isn't a global ATi problem

Ooops Embarrassed ... I meant if he has the driver installed properly because I get low fps-s if I don't install the driver.

P.S. : I also got ATI and the game works fine.

For anyone interested theres another library test game called SuperTrooper which is pretty fun - it's mostly to test particle rendering and gamepad input but also helped me highlight a few more issues.

Webstart SuperTrooper

Move/Aim:      Cursors or GamePad
Fire Cannon: Left Control or GamePad Button 1
Drop Mine:     Space or GamePad Button 2

Looks like I'll keep on this way with mini games to test things for a while - very enjoyable Smiley
