hi,

it's more pleasant to work in pairs, isn't it?... If it applies to you, and if you would like to have a partner for the competition, then we could maybe work together.
I'm also seeking for someone to work with. The only restrictive thing is i want it to be a java3d based project. The genre doesn't matter, i would however really like something simple & original. If you're interested, don't hesitate to contact me, maybe we'll match nicely.

some quick facts:
-my name is Arnaud, 21 years old.
- i'm proefficient in java and OO
- adept of "comment while you code" + uml
- knows java3d
- ignore everything about sound, media apis...
- knowing JSDT, thus i can help making it multiplayer.
- am good at physics and math

see ya

Does that include Xith3D?

i have absolutely no experience with xith3d, so i don't think i would be a good deal with it.

Have a look at xith.org. It's almost exactly the same as Java3D - that's the point - except that unlike J3D
- it's still in development/supported
- it's faster
- it uses JOGL (possibly LWJGL too)
- it's specifically designed for games development.
- it's still in alpha/beta AFAIAA; there are some missing features, a few small bugs, etc. But there's a couple of games around that are already using it.

After you've had a look, if you think Xith is OK, email me at ceo @ grexengine.com.

Well, since i prefer to stick to java3d, we didn't agreed to merge together... so i'm still free.
Oh, and a game without blood and deads would be nice!

...I'll now go on holiday for a week!
