The Endling's Artifice is a tactical stealth/action game. It is a reboot of the Intruder's Thunder series. You can play the game as a stealth game, sneaking past enemy NPCs, or as a shoot-em up action game, killing everything that gets in your way. It's entirely up to you. This game features a rendering engine that uses LWJGL. The game can be played in full-screen or an 800x600 window. Custom levels can be created by using the IT4LevelEditor (included with the download), and played in the game.

It's been nearly 3 years since I last released a game, but I had been working on this game since December 2015. This game is different than my Intruder's Thunder games, because I wrote the story for The Endling's Artifice before I created the levels. Without giving too much away, this game is a rescue mission that takes place approximately 10 years in the future on Huemul Island, near Bariloche in Argentina. You will encounter the paranormal, and uncover dark secrets in this fictional interpretation of a real place.

I made a lot of improvements to the game since Intruder's Thunder 3 as well, notably adding weather effects (rain and snow), dialogs that only display what one speaker is saying at a time, RPG-style text in the dialogs, completely overhauled the soundtrack and sound effects system (now uses .ogg files instead of .midi) so that the soundtrack and sound effects can play at the same time, polished up most of the sprites, added more unique weapons, added air ducts that the player can crawl through, regenerating health up to 80% of the player's maximum (and only when prone and not in alert mode), in-game cut scenes, and more I probably forgot to list.

If it isn't obvious by watching the trailer or looking at the screenshots, this game draws a lot of inspiration from the Metal Gear series, particularly the earlier entries in that series. In fact, one of the reasons I wanted to make The Endling's Artifice was because I was disappointed by MGSV:TPP's story...
