ZomGame will be a 2d Platform puzzel Game, with alot off fun and hard levels.

you are a blue box struggling to find hes way to freedom! but to do that he need to go throw the tuffest labyrints and all kinds off puzzels.

  • finish the game
  • get 1000 subscribers on youtube - only want a small community Smiley

[Need to be Fixed or Added]
  • Sounds to the Game
  • Moving Backround
  • Levels from 10 to 20 are gona be alot diffrent you will see later in the devolopment
  • add 2 player support on keyboard
  • Inventory

[Items List]
  • Box - can be picked up an be placed at pressure plates to open doors later in game
  • Key - can be picked up, you need this to unlock doors

//Only Traps that are added!
[Traps and Events List]
  • BallSpike - Die if you collide with it.
  • GravityPad - it will push you upwards if stand on it.
  • Lava - Die if you collide with it.
  • SpeedBoost - makes player go really fast fore some seconds.
  • Spike - an spike falls down from roof and kills you if you collide with it.
  • Teleporter - Teleports you to a spot on the level.
  • Trampoline - it bounce you pretty high in to air.
  • RedButtonToggleTrap - this will activate stuff and make stuff  happen on the map, who knows what might happen.
  • GroundWoodSpike - Kills on hit.
  • GroundWoodSpike - Kills on hit.
  • SlowBush - slow down the player.
  • ElectricTrap - turns on and off when off you can walk on it else you die.

The video of the game looks pretty good and it seems like you are making good progress.

My only suggestion / criticism is to change the leading image on the thread.  (Perhaps unfortunately) presentation is everything when building your prospective player base. 
The graphics in the video don't look bad at all, but that opening image looks like something knocked up in 10 minutes in MS paint.

Already looking much better.
I didn't want to seem harsh in my last thread, the game itself really does look good.  Fast, smooth with good animations.  I look forward to seeing how it turns out.

btw, have you considered loading the level data from binary files as opposed to having each level as a seperate java class?  It would take a little more time initially, but would ultimately prove to be easier to manage later on.

i use tilemaps from code just improved that as well xD in devlog 14 just added more animations to its up soon

I was playing for a while and when i loose more than 3-4 times in a row the FPS decrease a lot.
You should fix that.

I cannot seem to get to level 7. When I enter the door at level 6, the level 6 restarts.

The controls for me are absolutely horrible.. In the HELP screen, it says to move use ASDW, however, only A and D work. Using AD to move and space bear to jump are absolutely horrible in my opinion.

The physics of the character are horrible too.. Vertical speed feels choppy, and horizontal speed stops instantly upon the key to move on horizontal axis is released.

Other than that, the game is fun!

thank you for posting all wrongs i just saw that i will fix it untill next preplay.

am not really good with phyciks <-- dont remember how to spell that xD

i will try to get this all fps drop system fixed it happens when player dies
it loads all textures agine and all stuff thats why it lag's I need to find better way to do this.
