Hi all,
Putting this up here hoping for some feedback. This is an Android game me and a friend have been working on for the last month or so. Pop is a simple game about popping balloons and getting high scores. While it is mostly in a finished state, a lot of the art work is still what I would call temporary, especially the backgrounds.

It isn't currently on the Play store as I don't consider it completely finished, so you guys get a pre release Smiley luck you eh? I would really appreciate some constructive criticism, here's a list of known faults, to save you all some time:

Overall difficulty - currently the game is very easy to get high scores
Score save on gameover - currently the only way to actually save your high score on the device is to die, and get a gameover
Animations - only two, and they need reworking, especially in regard to when they play
Polish - the game is lacking a lot of overall polish, but I'm leaving that until last to sort out

That's all the downsides I can think of, thanks for your time! Smiley

EDIT: Changed background to something less ick
EDIT: Fixed critical bug caused by context loss

Well from first glance certainly change the backgrounds. I see that you mentioned that already, but I think I should post this before someone else says it without reading the whole post.

Was I before Chuang Tzu who dreamt about being a butterfly, or am I now a butterfly who dreams about being Chuang Tzu?

Granted they are totally lackluster. OK I'll grab something from opengameart...
EDIT: used some old art I had lying around instead Smiley
