Hi all! I'm new here.
First I must say that we are a two friends group trying to make good games. Smiley The other guy makes the graphics and I'm the programmer.
Yesterday I posted our first game for Android in the showcase section and now I want to share here the new project we are working right now.

It's a classic 2D side scrolling platformer for Android and iOS (and maybe other platforms) with a well defined pixel-art style. I switch from Andengine to libGDX for this project, so I'm learning and coding at the same time. Grin  I'm making a game engine over the libGDX framework and the game uses that engine.
At this moment, as the game has not a name, I'm calling it with the project codename: Ultimate.

This is an screenshot

And a little video

Current implemented features:

-2D multi-layered parallax scrolling
-Collision detection
-Movable platforms
-Touch controls
-Basic physics (run, jump,...)
-Basic sprite management

 *June 11 - 2014

-Advanced sprite management. It's able to build sprite animations from a sprite sheet without writing any extra code. You only need to put a new name in an enum and it's ready to use.
-Tile animations
-Tile animation attachments
-Map triggers
-Enemies. Various types with different behaviors.
-Basic global lighting.
-Audio engine.

Best Regards Smiley

Hi all!
I added a lot of features to the game engine and the game looks much better now. This are some of the most important additions:

-Advanced sprite management. It's able to build sprite animations from a sprite sheet without writing any extra code. You only need to put a new name in an enum and it's ready to use.
-Tile animations
-Tile animation attachments
-Map triggers
-Enemies. Various types with different behaviors.
-Basic global lighting.
-Audio engine.
