I've been working on a mobile shooter off and on for awhile now, thought I might as well post the project info here and some screenshots.

It's basically inspired by Ikaruga's black/white polarity system.  The trick will be designing levels around auto-fire (easy to break multiplier chains) and the auto-trigger of seeker missiles   Anyway, just a work in progress, but for those wishing to try it out on a MIDP2.0 phone you can provision from here: http://www.the2bears.com/mobile/Shade.jad (referencing of course http://www.the2bears.com/mobile/Shade.jar).  Feel free to download both files as well for emulator play.  The game *should* auto-size to screen resolutions, but the sprites don't scale yet.  There's a lot more info on the project at my site, here.
