I'm guessing this is a dead compo?  /sighs as 'Another One Bites The Dust' plays in background

It hasn't been born yet Smiley Largely due to a lack of time to organise it properly and dredge up some actually worthwhile prizes.

I think nobody really cares about the prizes, they want the fame, recognition and what not.

J4K had no prizes, was a heck of a lot fun though Smiley

I reckon Cas should have gone ahead without prizes.  Bit late for 2005 now and the 2006 4K compo is probably next.  Still I enjoyed writing my non-entry (SharpShooter16k), and Rick produced a very playable starship race game (Race 16k) so there is definitely potential in the LWJGL 16k format.

Besides, Matzon's just changed the OpenAL loader completely etc. Maybe we'll just wait for 1.0 ...

Doh!  Well, prizes or no, I was looking forward to some good stuff.

Sigh.  I think it should still be a go.  What a great way to end the year!
