Make it work; make it better.

It's great to have a place to go where you can feel comfortable asking any question and a group of like minded individuals are ready to help.  I just had an experience where I was ready to ask a question here with a problem I just couldn't figure out.  But the act of starting to write out the question forced me to go over the code in question with the values from the debugging console and the answer just popped out.  So even though on this problem I didn't get direct help from here, just having a place to ask the question helped.  So thanks to all the great people here.

I agree with you. I have found some precious help there. It is nice to have a place where many Java game developers come and collaborate.

It's called the rubber duck syndrome.

Whenever you cannot solve something, talk to the rubber duck first, explain the problem, what you cannot do and why. The answer might reveal itself as a result.

Have one of those on your desk Smiley

@Eli:
No those are the voices in your head, at least that is what mine claim. Wink

@Topic:
Sooo true. I must say JG.org is one of the MOST positive and friendly forums I know.
Maybe it is the size and the professionalism of those that have joined.
Maybe the lack of mainstream also kept away most of the tards.

Anyway... (manly) group hug! Cheesy
