First off, there is another game called Exception, if you're after that go here: http://www.java-gaming.org/index.php?topic=29579.0

Hey folks! I've been working on this game for a little while now (starting over many times with different ideas) and I thought the progress was good enough to post on JGO.

You can download it here: http://ge.tt/45xw2rt (OUTDATED, new build coming soon)

List of stuff to do:
 - collision and physics
 - lots and lots of levels (and a level system)

Things done:
 - Menu and play screen
 - Most of the artwork

Some screenshots

Character

Test level

So far, I've tested it on an Acer and an HP with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit and they work fine with 8 GB of RAM

Happy playing, folks! Not until there's something to play...

The title lies! I'm a steampunk hedgehog.

Happy playing, folks!

Wait! There's nothing to play!

So far, I've tested it on an Acer and an HP with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit and they work fine with 8 GB of RAM

Well, it worked on Mountain Lion 10.8.3 and also on Windows 8 Pro 32 bit.

Waiting for a playable version.

@SHC
The playable version will be here ASAP as soon as I get physics up and running and a test level  Wink

Also good to know it works on Mac and Windows 8. Thanks for testing  Grin

The title lies! I'm a steampunk hedgehog.
