Well here's a demo of Emerald J aka project Steller.

http://prime.turquoisegrotto.com/java/emeraldj.jnlp

--Controls--
Arrows move
Z shoot
X lock position (a little buggy)

Okay, so this is just a prototype. I wouldn't even call this alpha yet. Anyway all I want to know right now is two things. one) Is it fun? Two) Should I continue?

All the graphics except the background are placeholders only.

Please don't post any ideas to improve it. It's too soon.

Feel free to tell me what you like about it though.

These requests will only be here until beta, so don't worry, you'll get a chance to talk about improving it, and criticizing it than.

Got to 320 kills without getting hit so maybe a bit easy. Other than that I liked your previous game better but maybe you'll make it into something nice Smiley

Hi!

It works fine, it is fast even when there are lots of enemies.

It's a pretty good start.  I think it could use a little more structure of some kind.  Maybe different types of enemies with different behaviors and a little more of a goal rather just just blasting everything.

Without being allowed to suggest things, it's a bit hard to comment, but:

1) Yes, it's fun. For a while.
2) Yes, do continue.
