I don't think I've requested this before, so I'll write it now:
Could you please make the blue image at the top of the forum pages a bit smaller? It is rather annoying to deal with a horizontal scrollbar when the rest of the forum fits into the browser window. This applies to the 1024x768 resolution which is rather widely used, so I think it's fair enough. (this is particularly annoying when using certain mouse-scrolling functionality)

It's harder to read code than to write it. - it's even harder to write readable code.

It looks like the JAva logo on the left is what has pushed it off the side. Maybe that logo can be merged into the rest of the image as an overlay, instead of being placed beside it in an ultra-wide gray box.

Look at the source... it's 'orrible. Or better yet... use the firefox web developer plugin and do outline->table cells.
Oh and outline->tables... there are like 50 tables per page :]

The logo should have been about half the size. There is something streching it above normal proportions. It's also a problem in my Mozilla 1.7.8 browser.

Well, only as long as they are using CSS2 browsers that are still clearly not CSS2 browsers

The used browser shouldnt make a difference in this case. It depend on the resolution (1024x768 or lower).

opera has a little "fit to screen" thingy (Cntrol F11) that solves the problem on lower resolutions.

Well, only as long as they are using CSS2 browsers that are still clearly not CSS2 browsers Bah, browsers should be required to pass some sort of W3C compliance test before they are allowed to connect to the web. In fact W3C should have to digitally sign the browser to verify that is functions 100% to the spec Anything not conforming should not be allowed to be called a browser and rejected by web servers.

Ah, but then how would be able to complain about the flaws and exploit the "value added" features? Kev

Hmm, not much is happening eh? I suggest removing the banner as a temporary fix, then spending the required number of months performing the arguous task of cutting 200 pixels off it and reenabling it so it displays properly.
