Hi All
This is a game I have worked on for a few months on and off. It is my first attempt to program something in Java, so comments and suggestions would be welcome.

I have recently updated it to version 2.0.2 and now you can change the control keys!

The scenario is loosely based on the WW2 pacific theatre of war, but the aircraft types are not historically accurate as my 5 year old son decided which aircraft should be in it.

You get to fly around in a world filled with enemy aircraft, boats, ships, buildings, soldiers, AA guns and more, all of which you can shoot or bomb. Some things are harder to destroy than others, and as your score increases it gets harder as more enemy are sent to destroy you.

The readme.txt file has further instructions.

Please download from bradsjava.wordpress.com
There are download options for Windows operating systems with a complete setup.exe file as well as the .jar file for Linux and Mac users.

Happy flying!

Nice going! I have fond memories of Wings of fury so this is kind of a blast from the past.

I have a huge problem with the game though and that´s the controls. First of all, it get´s very cramped on the keyboard with the Z, A, Space and B. It doesn´t fit right in the hand at all, so it would be a good idea to look it over. Secondly, the Left and Right is totally opposite to my intuition. At the very least you should add an options to invert the steering. If you feel like fixing this I´ll gladly be looking forward to an update. Smiley

Thanks for the constructive criticism, I appreciate it. A number of my friends have commented about the controls. I used similar controls to a game called Sopwith that I used to play in the 80's! I have thought about giving the option to set your own key assignments, so maybe I will try and add that in. Not sure on the timing though because work, family etc.... But will see what I can do!
