Alright, everyone go easy this is my first post.

My friend and I are currently working on a zombie survival game called Zombie Survival(Great name, huh?). I actually started this project out of boredom but it soon amassed in to quite a game and so I decided it might be worthy to post it here.

Anyways, here is the basic idea of the game:
-There is a large urban area, complete with civilians, police officers, and zombies. The player is thrust into this chaotic environment, and what they do is up to them.
-The zombies are out to hunt down and kill everybody.
-The civilians are trying to not get killed by zombies.
-The police officers are trying to kill the zombies.
-The players can shoot and kill any NPC, and also any other player.
-Also, this is all singleplayer and multiplayer.

As of right now in multiplayer there are no zombies. There is code for them but until I add pathfinding for them I shall wait to have them spawn. Also multiplayer is a bit glitchy for I need to work on lag compensation, it is not my strong point.

As far as singleplayer goes, it is quite glitchy as well and I haven't worked on it much yet, I plan to just have singleplayer as a LAN server that only one client can connect to.

Planned Features:
-NPC's
-Vehicles's
-More tiles
-Lighting engine with day/night cycle
-Extra detail in environments

Screenshots:
These are pictures of me and my friend Salmonmarine playtesting and screwing around.

Known Issues:
-When in fullscreen mode, input windows appear behind the game window.
-Under rare circumstances, a grenade that hits the corner of a wall can bounce back into your face.
-There is no limit on hand grenade usage. It's like World War I.
-The crosshair is slightly off-center.
-You can walk right off the map.

A map to use if you want to create a server and not make your own map - http://www.mediafire.com/?n4s2nbq6r1qqzrj

Instructions:
To start a multiplayer server you must have a map to select.

     In-Game:
-Use WASD to move and 1-4 to change weapons, though in multiplayer there is only a pistol and a shotgun.
-Use G to toss grenades, there is a limit of 3 when you spawn in multiplayer.

     Map Editor:
-Use 1 and 2 to switch between the create and destroy tool.
-Use L and K to save and load maps.

This is no where near finished but I would love feedback.

Or just an applet? You can embed the applet directly in JGO now.

Well, after my 'brainstorming the future' thread got so badly hijacked, I kinda didn't bother to actually finish the file-upload part, so you're on your own Smiley

Have you tried double-clicking the jar file? It runs it for me. Tongue

Ah I see, though I didn't make it a ZIP file, the website I uploaded it to recognizes it as that apparently. >.>
