Chess Pieces

I am developing a chess interface in Java.  I am unsure of where to find good looking 2D and 3D chess graphics.  Are there any free ones available, perhaps LGPL'd ones?

unzip the contents. there's a full set of decent sized chess pieces in .gif format...

if you want to see what my experimental game was like, rename the .zip file to .jar and it'll run with a double-click.

(it actually is a .jar file but my ISP and Internet Explorer think otherwise)
