Any idea when we can expect the GL_ARB_vertex_buffer_object extension to be available in LWJGL?

The latest drivers from ATI and NVIDIA both include this extension.

It' in alright - although I can't get it to work on my redhat linux with the latest nvidia drivers. Not even a C test program. YMMV.

My apologies, it is in 0.6.  My browser pulled Javadoc from cache rather than refetching it for the 0.6 version of org.lwjgl.opengl.GL.

I have it working in C on Windows, after updating to the Detonator 43.51 drivers.

Don't know about Linux.

43.51 is beta drivers, right? I can't seem to find anything newer than 43.45 on the official nvidia page.

43.51 is beta, and it's the first version to support the VBO extension, so it's either that, or get an ATI card.

It's also doesn't seem that fast, but NVIDIA has said that they haven't optimized it yet.
