What's the best way to get started here, beyond the install of jme and lwjgl, I'm suspectin it's just a matter of checking out the demo classes and seeing how they work, but is there a tutorial written somewhere that can get me started without all the confusion? At this point I'm not even sure if jme serves as a complete layer over lwjgl so that I don't even need to know opengl or if it's more like a utility lib that has some object loaders and other things and I do the bulk of my work with lwjgl (I'm not that familiar with lwjgl, so do I need to study up on that first, or is it necessary)?

Anyway, I'm off to browse some sources and api docs and see if I can't figure it out, but I'm hoping there is a reasonable getting started tutorial that covers more than installation so I can have an easier time of gettin started.

Oops, I overlooked user guide somehow... ironically my web browser was open to the page with a link to it...
