Sorry but being a pessimist when you involve Microsoft and open source in the same paragraph has become natural to me.

If Microsoft buys out Red Hat, I will commit suicide.
How the heck can M$ compare themselves to RH?
M$ steal ideas and buy them out, they don't "share" anything unless you have thousands of dollars to purchase a license to their software or afford decent lawyers to stop them from stealing your idea.

I live down in Australia, M$'s software pricing is horrendous, and I don't believe the dealers are the main reason for it.

Open source is the future, Microsoft are *trying* to stop it, but will they succeed? I believe not, the will of the people will be the death of Microsoft.
