Hey, that's weird - a vote with no options! Why?

Well, because this forum software sucks.

If people can post here with suggested options, I'll edit it and put them in and we can vote on them Smiley.

We already know from this:

http://www.java-gaming.org/cgi-bin/JGNetForums/YaBB.cgi?board=News;action=display;num=1082290835

...that a third of respondents wanted graphics articles.

Hmmm, thinking about questions I've had recently about 3d...

1) a tute on loading a binary file
2) texture/mesh managers similar to Kevs class on the wiki
3) Scene magagement; algos + data structures - quad, oct, bsptrees lots of resources for these online though
4) integrating jode with a simple terrain/block demo
5) you can never have too many camera tutorials

Thats the problem, alot of topics are covered elsewhere...

What's unprintable about them at the moment?

PS depressing that only one person actually came up with specific ideas for articles Sad

k

How about an article about time management. How to manage ticks. Using a time or using timeslices.

How should the different parts of the game be managed.

When do I get my makeMyGameAsILike() extension?

Guess it's printable right away... however, an additional stylesheet for printing is nice to have Wink
