Ahoy mateys,

I was wondering if any of you scurvy dogs out there has ever played, heard, seen (etc) this game:

http://www.puzzlepirates.com/

It is quite a nifty pirates game, actually it is a MMORPG where you do your piratey chores through puzzles. Oh, did I mention it's in Java??

Check it out...

Java games rock!

I played it for a short time during beta and had a blast. Unfortunately, I'm not a puzzle type and playing the same puzzles again and again got a bit dull after a while. But they did an excellent job with it and it has aparently caught on quite well.

Yup....I believe (and correct me if I am wrong, please) that it's one of the first Java game in the verge of hitting "mainstream".

Well...at least online mainstream...

If you count all the java card games out there, then it definitely isn't the first mainstream one.  www.pogo.com has tons and tons of people playing all their java based card games Cheesy

There are only 10 types of people, those who understand binary and those who don't!

Yeah, I played it during the beta and found it to be pretty enjoyable.  I didn't play it for too terribly long though, as I'm not that into the MMORPG genre.  But it is very well done.  I have a friend who found it mildly addictive.
