I´ve been playing with my site lately and got some stuff together.. Take a look, if you want me or any of my staff to write a review of a game, e-mail me .. Same applies to those who want their game hosted the same way Cosmic Trip etc is hosted.

You might want to change the download for Schlug Attack to say "Early Access" instead of beta. Beta implies that there's a functional program.

That Schlug attack looks like it has the potential to be something pretty cool.

I like how the plane flight works too, except that you can stop in mid air  Tongue

The plane has been pretty weird for me too to implement Wink So I call it a harrier, a plane that can hover in one place, when I start implementing special effects I will do some sort of dust effect below the plane so that you can see that it is hovering.

About the Early Access to beta suggestion, I will change the name, thank you.

Since they're mostly LWJGL games, do you know where I can get the linux binaries? I'd suggest you host the latest binaries on your site too, if possible, since they are a required download (unless I misunderstand the way LWJGL works, in which case apologies to all concerned Smiley). So far, historically, it's been almost impossible to get them (the links for linux binaries posted in the alienflux forums have NEVER worked, either timing out or with webserver-errors, even though I've tried them several times a day for many days).

As ever, the SF search facility is down Sad, so I can't find the LWJGL project page to check if they have a linux binary.

At the moment, with LWJGL still having no documentation on the web pages (as of last week), I've pretty much given up playing LWJGL games; it's too much hassle.

Don't you worry Blah, linux support will be proper.

Regarding linux lwjgl downloads - they are often placed on my local webserver when pre-release previews or bugfix tests are nescessary, and yes they often disappear simply because they're out of date or of some other reason. So the sourceforge is the only guaranteed way of fetching current libs, even though you say that even that service is currently down.

And yes, we need some kind of FAQ or doc to describe the install process. Or even better, how about a cross platform installer as a LWJGL add-on to deploy the libs the correct way with minimum hassle from the user and developer?
