Job Opportunity in NYC: Mobile Music System Architect/Software Engineer (Compensation: Equity Until Funding)Didiom is an early-stage, pre-seed venture, specializing in the development of mobile music products and services. Our innovative products will empower wireless carriers to provide mobile phone users with a new choice to search, stream, download and listen to full-length songs on their handsets.
We are looking for experienced system architects/software engineers to design and develop mobile music distribution systems. The ideal candidates will have the following qualifications:
* Working knowledge of Java, C++, Brew, J2ME, MIDP/CLDC, Symbian, UIQ, WAP and Mobile Windows
* System integration experience including third party content, DRM, CRM and billing systems
* Embedded operating systems and object-oriented programming experience
* In-depth knowledge of wireless and searching technologies, audio/video streaming and technologies
* Hands-on experience with data mining tools and APIs
* Experience in working with mobile network operators / handset manufacturers / digital content providers
* Ability to work independently in an entrepreneurial environment
* Interest in mobile entertainment and mobile commerce
* High professional and ethical standards
* B.Sc./M.Sc. in Computer Science or Software Engineering
