2D Football Game

Hi,

Im new to Java Game design so my apologies if this isn't the place to ask such beginner questions.

I was just wondering if anybody have a very handy link to a tutorial to help me in designing a simple 2D Football Game please.

You didn't specify gfx or ai; any gfx tutorial would be helpful and google ('tutorial soccer ai') returns this link:

Start with a book...there's a lot you need to know...there are no tutorials that explain how to make a 2D football game.  If you have to ask for one, then yer not prepped. :-)

You don't think its maybe a bit late to be replying to this? Especially with the standard Java 2D book reference.
