Im trying the old art of, well, doing pixel art, small great looking sprites and i need examples.

For anyone with a great looking avatar made by hand could you, please make a post (even an empty one) in this thread.

Im also looking for clues or links to VERY GOOD tutorials and resources about pixel art because im such an art noobe. Thanks.

pixelation is by far the best board...

http://web1.t43.greatnet.de/ (previously pixelation.swoo.net)

Well, the forum is gone right now thanks to some silly script kiddie (again phpbb vulns were exploited... I so totally ph34r their 1337 google skills Roll Eyes).

I did some pixel art in the past, but it's imo too time consuming (I'm rather slow with art anyways).

Cool thanks. I had being digging on the net myself and found some cool resources even a art noobe like me could do a presentable tile set. Its really easy to do this stuff once we learn some tricks.

I will post thread with all the resources gattered in the java2d forum.
