Hi,i am writing a report which needs to include a bit of history of making games using java,lwjgl,& jogl,openGL and openAL, are there any docs or sites that are any good for any of these plz?

The jogl documentation includes presentation docs for every year since it was first developed. That would be a good start. You should also investigate the fall Java3d. Its like the fall of max payne but more dramatic.

/me suggests you sketch a timeline with interesting events etc, post it, and then any mistakes will quickly be spotted and corrected Smiley

In the 3D scene Jogl and co. is rather new in the javagaming scene.  If you want to dig in the past I recommend to you to look at gl4java and magician.
