I'm about to finish up a game I've written, and other than fullscreen, I don't need any permissions, is there a way yet to ask just for fullscreen or do I have to ask for all? I also change the display mode too, so it's a little more than just going full screen.

If I can't ask for just the permission I need, I'll probably setup a seperate link for all or nothing access... and then go hunting for the RFE to enable seperate permissions in web start... think I'll go looking for that now...

Yep :-/

Search for "granular permissions".

Thanks onyx, it took some effort to find the thread asking for the enhancement, and surprisingly zero votes... so I had to betray the communities need for faster math and vote this issue up... anyway, the RFE is located at http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=6205526

The fact there is an entire security section that as far as I know can't have anything in it except all-permissions kinda implies they knew they needed more than an all or nothing deal...
