I am developing a simple online game. After some development, well I got stuck

Where can I find the network side of online gaming? I tried javagamesfactory.com and searching the whole forums, yes all of it, except the jobs and general talks, I just dont know what  to store where (client or server) and where to do this and that, how to design the packets that are to be sent, etc.


I hope I'm not being to vague.
