Java games rock!

« Posted 2005-01-23 01:55:56 »

Hi there. I know that this may be a silly question....but anyway...is there any other library/API for Java that is open source besides the JAVA2D implementation by Sun? For 2D stuff, like rotating matrix, translation and that kind of stuff

Absolutely! Basically every OpenGL implementation (because OpenGL does have a 2D mode) So check out stuff like LWJGL and all that.

Also on the top of my head (non-GL based), there's GAGE but I'm not sure if it provides Image transforms and such..
