We've just got hold of a Motorola E1000, and found it to have VSCL2.0 in it.

Until today, we didn't even know VSCL2.0 existed O_o
Is there a Javadoc api for VSCL2.0 out there somewhere? and specifically, does it contain the mascot 3 libs?
(VSCL 1.0.1 contained mascot 2, so it seems only logical to expect VSCL2.0 to contain mascot 3)

Also, has anybody had success with gaining entry to the vodafone developer site?
(where im quite sure all these questions could be easily answered)

The VSCL2.0 Javadoc contains the following...
com.vodafone.io.RemoteControl
com.vodafone.io.RemoteControlData
com.vodafone.lcdui.SVGImage
com.vodafone.media.barcode.BarcodeControl
com.vodafone.midlet.ResidentMIDlet
com.vodafone.system.BodyOpenListener
com.vodafone.system.PhoneStateListener
com.vodafone.system.DeviceControl
com.vodafone.util.ImageEncoder

Mascot isn't listed, but I assume it is embedded on the phone.  M3G certainly is.

The Motorola SDK v4.3 has an E1000 emulator which should give you more information.
