Java rocks!

« Posted 2005-01-11 19:06:21 »

I've just been reading about the MacWorld Expo 2005 and I now think I'm ready to take the plunge into the world of owning a Mac.

Have you seen these, which were announced this morning...http://www.apple.com/macmini/.

Looks like testing our software on Macs is going to be an awful lot cheaper from now on.

I for one am excited!

Andy.

PS: Now if only they would open an iTunes store in Australia I'd be completely happy.

If only this had been available 4 months ago, the donation drive for LWJGL wouldn't have had to raise so much money!

Oh well.

Andy.

PS: I have my shopping cart saved with one in at the apple store, all I need now is the balls to click "Pay Now", and hope that the girlfriend doesn't spot a new box in the lounge.

Giving Java a second chance after ludumdare fiasco

I've been wanting a Mac for a long time and this is surely tempting!

I think its very exciting, this is the first 'cheap' Apple comp since the Apple II.  I expect it to be a big seller for Apple, heck I'm even tempted to buy some Apple stock....

If you bought some Apple stock a year ago you would have done VERY well.

Oh, and the rumors of an Australian iTunes music store coming soon are everywhere.  It took forever to get one in Canada but it's here now (and the cheapest so far!), the only problem is that they don't ever have any of the music I want to buy.

Buy the mini!! Just click that buy button.  You know you want to (says the maniac, who's currently typing from his mac iBook he got for christmas).  Smiley

I'm thinking of buying stock in Apple too.  The new iPod shuffle and the release of the macmini are steps in the right direction if you ask me.  They've made gadgets cool/cute/and hip all at the same time.

My 2 cents -
