Why are all the JFrames in the 4k games undecorated? Does that somehow save space somewhere?

well, one person gave an explanation: the sonic racer game was meant to be fullscreen so it wouldn't make sense to make the frame decorated.

for(int i = 1; i > 0; i++)
     System.out.println(i+" cups of java downed");
