There is nothing common about common sense

« Posted 2005-01-08 17:24:48 »

Hello all.  I have been contacted by a company based out of Atlanta, Georgia looking for an experianced java 2D and 3D programmer.  They are in need of about 3 programmers and the pay is very very good.  I only wish I was finished with my Thesis.  Oh yea, they are wanting to hire asap.

If anyone is interested please contact:

Assuming that I'm looking at the correct position, then the pay is $75k-$90k for biotech-related work. Considering the industry (biotech, not gaming) I'd hardly call that salary very, very good. Maybe for a mid-level engineer.

God bless,

Seems like a fair salary to me... maybe that's just the exchange rate.

Just do a search in atlantajobs.com for senior Java engineer. I think you'll find that $75K-$90k is about average, not very, very, good. Maybe the job is great and all, but the compensation is nothing special.

Yonks! I'm in the wrong country! Average salaries in the UK for an average programmer are in the £28-£38k range.

LOL, Cas, here in italy you can earn these figures in euros and be considered lucky in many senior eng positions.
It's equally true than Italy is different from Uk in terms of life cost.
