Java games rock!

while playing trials construction on miniclip.com i encounter huge amounts of lag, i only get like 1fps.  i have a P3 933 and 320mb SD133 ram and a radeon 9800 PRO 128mb, so this shouldnt be happening at all!  can anyopne help? i have java web start j2re 1.4.2_03.

please help!

Hello.

This isn't a support board for Java users. It's for devs. And this subforum is for tweaking your own games Wink

So... well, the only advice I can give you is updating your drivers. Get the latest version of directx and the newest drivers for your graphics card. That might help a bit (unless they used stoneage 1.0/1.1 Java).

I think it was designed for 1.1 but I'm sure 1.4 should have at least tried to accelerate it a bit.
