I am designing a small modelling application based on a software rendering package im still developing.

For the modeling im still gathering requirements and  thats the reason of this query. I would apreceate if you could spare some time to answer these questions.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tell me about yourself, please.

U1. Whats your experience with computers ?

a. Internet user
b. Ocasionaly use common applications
c. Daily work with computers

U2. Do you use modelling applications often ?

a. Never
b. Ocasionaly
c. Every week
d. Every day

U3. What do you know anything about art ?

a. Nothing
b. Self-learned a little
c. Im good at it but no schooll formation
d. I have schooll formation on art

U4. How good are you in all these areas

NOTE1: multiple choice. For example answer
"a=2 b=1 c=1 d=1"
with answer letter followed by the grade. The grade is in the scale: 1 is worst, 3 average, 5 best)

a. Modelling geometry
b. Texturing (creating and applying textures)
c. Lighting scenes
d. Animating

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tell me about your modelling experience, please.

M1. With how many views do you usually work with ?

a. 1 view
b. 2 views
c. 3 views
d. 4 views

M1.1. How many mouse buttons do you use, efectively, when working with your app ?

a. 1 buttons
b. 2 buttons
c. 3 buttons (middle mouse)
d. 3 buttons (middle mouse + mouse wheel)

M1.2. How many keyboard shortcuts do you use, efectively , while modelling  ?

a. 1+
b. 5+
c. 10+
d. 20+

M1.3. How many dialog panels (attached to your app or not) do you usually have while working with your app ?

a. 1+
b. 3+
b. 6+
c. 10+

M1.4. From the functinality (small icons, operations) you see (have  access to) in the 2d/3d view top bar (2d/3d views usualy have a bar with small icons or a local menu) what functionality do you find essential ?

NOTE: Multiple choice. Choose all that apply.

a.  navigation tools
b. camera choose/setup/reset
b. user camera define/select
c. keyframes
d. grid/snap settings
e. visibility filters
f. view/render modes

c. giving things the exact size
d. controling vertex amount
e. visualizing things
f. other (please specify)

Please explain your choices and tell the exact source of your frustration.

M4. What texturing tool you use more often ? And second more often ?
