Small Device, the leading developer of mobile skills-based video games, seeks a Quality Assurance Game Tester (part-time and full-time) to join our team. Visit  http://www.small-device.com/sdgamelab/index.htm for more information about our company.

A game tester will play test games and seek technical errors and inconsistencies in game play and report these issues to producers and development teams.

Primary responsibilities:

Finding and reporting bugs for mobile games
Following a test plan for mobile games across multiple handsets
Reporting to QA Project Lead
Testing games against carrier standards
Working closely with the other members of the QA team in order to streamline testing process
Testing games on a variety of handsets

Job Qualifications:

Enthusiastic attitude towards mobile games and game testing
Patience to test games, follow test procedures and report issues accurately
Positive attitude and ability to communicate and cooperate with other people
Excellent eye for detail
Strong work ethic
Great trouble shooter

I know a tester who might be interested, but he's based in NYC.  This might be ok for you, as testing on actual phones is difficult without being local.  

So... you haven't said where the position is?
