Can some one verify if the sound play-delay has been fixed?

Pre 5.0, when ever you tried to play a sample you noticed a slight delay  before the sound actualy was played. Has this been fixed in 5.0???

Answering my self.....

The lag problem on linux has been fixed...but only if you have sound hardware that supports multiple sound output lines.

If you (like me) runs linux on a poorly equiped machine....the java software sound mixing will take over and you got the lag.
