odeJava and J3D?

New to the whole 3D thing.  I am writing a small 3d game with j3d. I know about Xith3D and how thats better for games, I'm just trying to learn the basics.  Anyway, does odeJava work with J3D?

odejava is not tied to a specific renderer, you can use it with every rendering-api you like.

there is an existing odejava/j3d binding, have a look at this:
