Xith wierdness...can you explain??

   Went out last night and pulled the latest out of CVS, built clealy using build.xml in Eclipse.

  When I ran any of the Xith examples the strangest thing would happen.  Shapes would render correctly for a 1/2 second or so and then shatter into varied ploygons spread all over the window.  the Sphere lighting looked like a poped balloon.  

   I recovered by finding some old libes etc but really have no idea what happened..   thoughts??
