The following project has been approved:
Promidia is a brazilian multimedia project for cellular phones and handhelds based in J2ME for the development
of products with international quality in softwares of entertainment. Currently in
partnership with UNOPAR, a big university from Brazil and SERCOMTEL, telephony company
of a great national prominence. The objective of this project is to increase the development
of this platform in all region and supply this games to sercomtel customers, that already are 1,000,000 all
around the country. There are 4 games in progress:
- Truco: famous national cards game
- Tamagochi
- Race of trucks
- Game simulating airplanes of Brazilian Air Force (autorized by BAF)
The forecast for ending theses games is dec/2004. All team of project add 24 persons, being
4 teams of 6, with 2 programmers, 2 responsible for the game design, 1 support and 1 artist.
