regarding the googlemail /gmail questions.  It's legal thing in the uk.  apparently theer is another company that has gmail tm'd or something.  so until that is settled you get googlemail.  there is some info about it on the google stie somewhere...

unless you have had the address from before hand.  the new googlemail ones have the chat stuff in whne oyu log in too the old gmail ones don't.... strange.
