Why does sun's bug reporting system replace all occurrences of the word "other" with "xxxxx" when viewed over the web? This seems bizarre.
malloc will be first against the wall when the revolution comes...

It looks to me like they censor company names and such.  I guess to get some level of privacy in the public reports.

Sure, but ... why does that hit "other" Huh

It does mean that most bug reports look stupid, and many don't make sense. I saw one today with three uses of "other" in one sentence and it was unreadable unless you knew about the substitution.

Sigh. Sun: The network company that doesn't understand the web.
