HLSL? ARB? Cg? GLSL?

Whats the scoop with Xith3d? I take it GLSL is atad new
to be messing with for somthing in the next few weeks?

HLSL is for DirectX so thats out?

Cg only runs on nVidia cards- or am i wrong there?

So leaves us with ARB ?

We should support all of them  Grin via an ornate plugin system thats intended to support future additions but infact just prevents anyone ever adding anything! Wink

GLSL. There was a poll of the community - you can take a look back in the forums.

GLSL is on the way. I already made some tests with it, and now it is a question of nice and clear parameter separation, especially for array parameters. But, to be realistic, don't expect it earlier than in 2-3 weeks.

Yes. I do not know any HLSL implementation for OpenGL.

Sould be working everywhere where ARB_<type>_program supported, but in practice, on the ATI there are some pbs.

Hello Yuri

any news on the GLSL support?

This would be a great feature to use in a future project I'm currently planning...
Let me know if you need help and /or there's already existing work that needs to be improved.

cheers,
eph!
