Well I have trouble finding decent sites for free sound effects. Perhaps you can help me?

I need some gun sounds and engine sounds

When do I get my makeMyGameAsILike() extension?

Hmm... well you might find some pages with "free" samples. But most likely they aren't really that free.

However, you would end up with various different formats. Wave != wave. So... some manual editing is in order anyways.

Just record samples from various sources, Mix em, filter em, cut em and finally save em (with the same application) as your final format (eg 8bit 11khz mono wav for web games or 16bit 44khz mono wav if you gonna ogg em).

Playing it through OpenAl sounds very noise compared to how it sounds in mediaplayer. But then again perhaps its the laptop sfx card not liking OpenAL

KevGlass your echovibes sounds are realy realy weird Smiley
