Loading files generated with Blender3D?

Hello,

I want to load files created with blender3d.org into my java application which uses awt + jogl. Blender's native file format would be *.blend, but *.blend is said to be difficult to load and to change often. Can somebody recommend a file-format that blender can export to which is well-documented and easy to load?

I think that Blender can out put most common formats (maybe needs a script but thay are easily available http://www.elysiun.com )

Not sure what loaders are avaialble for jogl probably best to ask on thair forums.  For Xith there are a few loaders that Kev has done.
